Discipleship in the New Testament: Searching for Home

Apr 16, 2023    Josh Lott

“Are we there yet?” Is a refrain that we often hear from the backseats of our cars, whether we are driving five minutes or five hours. But I think this is a question that we should be asking regularly. “Are we there yet? When will we be home?” The writer of Hebrews wants to tell us: YES! In Christ we have arrived home. From creation to the fall to the cross and resurrection, the Son of God has been at work to bring us home to himself. Join us this week as we dive into the beautiful book of Hebrews and see the picture that it paints for us of how Jesus is the completion of everything that we see in the Old Testament, and what that means for us today.
