Deacons Mission Statement 

To help provide for the holistic needs of those within our congregation as well as those connected to our congregation and the community-at-large. It is our intention to be the hands, feet, and heart of our Lord Jesus Christ by utilizing our God-given talents, abilities, and resources to bless, nurture, and strengthen the church body and our local community at large in glorification of God to further His Kingdom.

What does it mean to be a Deacon?

To be the hands, feet, and heart of our Lord Jesus Christ by utilizing our God-given talents and resources to help provide for the holistic needs of those within our congregation as well as those connected to our congregation and the community-at-large.

Matthew 25:34-36

Then the King will say to those on His right, 'Come, you who are blessed by my Father, take your inheritance, the Kingdom prepared for you since the creation of the world. For I was hungry and you gave me something to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink, I was a stranger and you invited me in, I needed clothes and you clothed me, I was in prison and you came to visit me.'

Galatians 6:9-10

Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up. Therefore, as we have opportunity, let us do good to all people, especially to those who belong to the family of believers.
