John 16:5-18 — The Guiding Spirit

As followers of Jesus, the guidance that the Holy Spirit is absolutely essential. He leads, comforts, and convicts; all to work towards one goal: pointing us towards Jesus and making us more like Him. In our passage this morning, Jesus tell this disciples how necessary it is that the Holy Spirit comes to fill this role. In the same way that Jesus knew of the necessity of the Holy Spirit in the lives of his disciples, so we should eagerly anticipate and desire the work of the Holy Spirit in our own lives.
