Peace In the Journey

In this life we can lock the proverbial doors of our heart in fear of getting hurt, or when we are hurt, shutting the bad things out is our natural reaction. Bad things even cause us to doubt God’s good and right word. We have the scars to show it. Jesus entering into the midst of the hurting, fearful, and disillusioned disciples give us a glimpse as to how God works in our lives. Jesus brings peace in the midst of difficulty, He is not afraid of our doubts, He creates a new community, and through that new community we experience grace, forgiveness, strength, and healing. He has the scars to show it. Believing in Him we have life in His name.
