Philippians: Stay Salty, Shine Brightly, Don’t Embarrass the Family

In concluding chapter 1, the apostle Paul starts admonishing the church in Philippi having shared about his present experiences as an example. Whether Paul ends up martyred for his testimony of Jesus Christ or he manages to return to the faithful saints in Philippi, he urges them to conduct themselves in a manner that reflects the worthiness of the gospel. Their conduct serves as a testimony to the truth of the gospel, their lives exemplify the power of the gospel, and their relationships demonstrate how the gospel brings genuine life. How does suffering perfect all of this in the follower of Jesus?
