Longing For A Savior: Another in the Fire

Shadrack, Meshach, and Abednego find themselves in a life-threatening situation because of their desire to follow YHWH. What does allegiance to YHWH mean in the midst of Babylon? Everything they knew was being threatened by Nebuchadnezzar and his decrees? We see this as a recapitulation of the Garden scene where Adam and Eve were tempted by the serpent.  But here we see in their actions to honor YHWH, God shows up in their midst.
