The LORD of the Lords of The Skies (Genesis 1:14-19)

Mar 3, 2024    Josh Lott

In this sermon, we explore the meaning behind God's creation of the sun, moon and stars on the fourth day of creation in Genesis 1. While ancient cultures deified these celestial objects, the true God intended them as signs pointing to Himself– reminders of His faithful presence. Though we may walk through dark valleys, the darkness has never overcome the light of the glory of God! Just as the sun keeps shining behind clouds, God remains with us in even our darkest moments. May we pursue this God who, himself enters in as the Light of the World!
